Fostering a Culture of Respect: Combating Ragging
Ragging encompasses a spectrum of behaviors, ranging from harmless pranks to outright abuse and harassment. It often stems from power dynamics, peer pressure, and a lack of empathy. Victims of ragging may experience humiliation, trauma, and even physical injuries, leading to long-term psychological scars. Recognizing the gravity of this issue is crucial in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
The anti-ragging culture in our campus ensures collective effort and commitment from all stakeholders. We prioritize student well-being, fostering inclusivity and upholding ethical standards, our college creates a conducive learning environment where every individual feels respected and valued. We strive to cultivate a culture of empathy, kindness and respect in our campus, ensuring that ragging becomes a relic of the past.
As per the orders of Honorable Supreme of India and AICTE, regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging, the constitution of Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad is instituted by Jawaharlal Institute of Technology and Management which comprises of :
