The Placement Cell at JITM facilitates campus recruitment by bridging students with industry partners and preparing them for employment opportunities in reputed organizations. These guidelines ensure a fair, transparent, and structured process for all eligible students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must have a minimum of 60% attendance in all semesters.
- Should have cleared all internal/external exams up to the final semester or as per company criteria.
- Students must register with the Placement Cell by filling out the Placement Registration Form.
- Participation is open only to those who have completed mandatory internships.
Placement Process

Student Guidelines
1.Only those students will be allowed to participate in any placement drive (on-campus or pooled) who have formally filled and submitted the registration form for that specific company/drive.
- Late submissions or verbal confirmations will not be accepted as submission of the form signifies the student’s commitment to attend the drive and comply with all rules.
- Absence without valid reason after registering for a company will be recorded as a strike.
- If a student misses three registered placement activities without valid reasons/documented approval:
- The student will be debarred from participating in all further placement drives.
- A formal written notice will be issued and shared with the HOD.
- Warnings will be tracked and shared with students after each violation, and no appeal will be entertained after the third strike unless approved by the TPO and HOD jointly.
- Students can apply only to those companies where they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Once selected in a company, the student is not eligible for further placement opportunities (unless allowed under a specific category like Dream Job).
- Formal dress code is mandatory during all placement-related activities.
- Students must maintain discipline, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions with companies.
- Any act of misconduct or data misrepresentation may lead to debarment from the placement process.
